I got a little anxious for spring and made this playlist on March 1st, which was is still rainy time in San Francisco. Though once April came around, I felt warm enough to bring it out for its debut... just in time for Coachella. Anyways, I am not sure how many playlists have Olafur Arnalds, Kanye West, The Killers and The Promise Ring but man, I think that is the making of a beautifully diverse world.

San Francisco is supposed to have heavy rain over the next week, so I made this playlist. After dedicating so much of my life to the Album Leaf, I have no idea how I never heard these two songs... I am sure I will get good use out of them now. Love the Olafur, Nils and Peter Broderick songs, the creaking of piano benches and old wooden instruments nearly sounds like pitterpatter of rain. I guess in perfect moments, the two will be indistinguishable.

Fall playlists have traditionally been a near 50/50 split of acoustic singer/songwriter songs (see: 2005, which was nearly all Elliott Smith) and reverb-laden neo-shoegaze (see: 2006, which was nearly all The Radio Dept.). This playlist is no different. However, there are some amazing artists that break that mold like Gem Club, Nils Frahm and Billie Holiday. Take a listen.
- Club 8 - This is the Morning
- Simon & Garfunkel - Wednesday Morning, 3am

- Billie Holiday - Autumn in New York
- Nils Frahm - Unter
- Radiohead - Give Up the Ghost
I needed a playlist to listen to while walking to work during the freezing cold yet oddly sunny San Francisco mornings. Jonsi's new album was a perfect cornerstone for this playlist, beautiful music but not overly happy like his last album. Also, sorry for the block of Bon Iver, I finally decided to listen to the new album.
- Jonsi - Sun
- Codes in the Clouds - The Distance Between Us (Nils Frahm Remix)
- Explosions in the Sky - Human Qualities
